Asking data teams better questions
Analysts who define metrics carefully spend less time arguing about dashboards.
“Can you show me conversion?” is too open. Better: “Which events mark a completed onboarding for mobile users in the last 30 days, and which are excluded?”
Write the definition first. Then ask for the extract. That order prevents three weeks of mismatched charts.
